RULES OF PLAY
Welcome to The Play Park!
We’re all about big fun in a safe, friendly space where children can play, explore and burn off some energy. To help keep everyone happy and safe, please follow these simple Rules of Play during your visit.
๐ช Supervision & Responsibility
-
All children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult (18+).
-
Minimum adult-to-child ratio is 1 adult for every 5 children.
-
Grown-ups must stay on-site for the entire session.
-
You know your little one best – keep an eye on them and help them play safely.
-
Our team is here to help, but adults remain fully responsible for the children in their care.
๐งผ Health, Hygiene & What to Wear
-
Socks must be worn by everyone using the play equipment – no shoes or bare feet, please.
-
We recommend kids wear long sleeves and trousers to prevent friction burns.
-
Remove sharp items and valuables – like jewellery, watches, belts, badges, coins, or phones – before entering the play area.
-
Glasses are worn at your own risk – we recommend shatterproof lenses and straps.
-
If anyone in your group is unwell (or has been in the last 48 hours), please reschedule your visit.
-
Nappy changes must be done in the changing area. Please use the bins provided.
-
Hand sanitiser stations are available – please use them on entry and before play.
๐ Play Area Rules
-
Please only use equipment that’s suitable for your child’s age and size.
-
Our under 5s area is just for younger guests – please keep bigger ones out!
-
No climbing up the slides, walls, or furniture.
-
Don’t linger at the bottom of slides or go down with a child on your lap.
-
No rough play, throwing toys, fighting, or disruptive behaviour.
-
No food, drink, sweets or chewing gum in the play areas.
-
Personal toys, scooters, and prams are not allowed inside the play frame.
-
Birthday cakes are welcome but please let us know in advance.
โฐ Timed Sessions, Wristbands & Re-entry
-
Play sessions are either 1 hour or 2 hours, depending on your booking.
-
You’ll be given a coloured wristband – this helps us manage session times.
-
Please arrive and leave on time so we can clean between sessions.
-
Need to pop out? No problem – you can re-enter during your session with your wristband.
-
Prams are allowed, but we may limit the number indoors during busy times.
๐ธ Photos, Behaviour & Smoking
-
You're welcome to take photos – but only of your own children and their guests.
-
Please be kind and respectful to other families and our team.
-
We have a three-strike behaviour policy – aggressive or disruptive behaviour may result in removal.
-
This is a strictly smoke- and vape-free venue, including near entrances.
๐จ Emergencies & Accidents
-
In an emergency, staff will lead an evacuation. Please do not enter the play equipment during this time.
-
Report any accidents, injuries or spillages to a team member straight away so we can help.
-
We operate CCTV and a secure entry system for your safety and peace of mind.
โ ๏ธ A Quick Heads-Up
-
Soft play is a whole lot of fun, but it comes with some bumps and tumbles. We’ve done everything we can to create a safe environment, but by entering, you accept that minor knocks and slips can happen during active play.
๐ Thank You!
Thanks for helping us keep The Play Park safe, clean, and joyful for all.
Now… socks on, smiles out – let’s play!
